Structural or Copy Editing

I work on about five editing projects a year, and I choose them very carefully. I charge £130 per hour, and a structural edit usually comes in at about twelve hours. A copy edit tends to run longer - more like seventeen hours. You get extensive notes and a Zoom consultation. I have a very, very high standard, so this suits people who are willing to bring exceptional rigour and discipline to their books.
